Updated | By Nondumiso Dube
The House of
Traditional Leaders has welcomed the recognition by President Cyril Ramaphosa
of Prince Misuzulu as the King of the Zulu nation.
The president released a statement on Wednesday saying Misuzulu's recognition is in terms of the Traditional and Khoi-San Leadership Act.
The coronation had been delayed after members of the royal family challenged his ascension to the throne in court.
Chairperson of National House of Traditional Leaders, Inkosi Phathisizwe Chiliza, says this will hopefully lead to peace in the Royal Household.

"We must all work for peace and make sure that there is peace and unity because the nation at large is looking at the family, even the world is looking at the royal family. WE appeal that there is peace and unity so that the Zulu nation can be respected by the world.
