NFP policy conference to address youth structures, unemployment

The National Freedom Party is turning its full attention to its policy conference, after postponing its elective conference - which was meant to have taken place today.
The policy conference will be held in Ulundi in two weeks time.
It will see delegates deliberating on the party's position on unemployment, land and education - among other pertinent issues in the country.
Acting National Chairperson, Bheki Gumbi, says the party currently doesn't have a recognised youth wing - adding the matter will also be on the table at the policy conference.
"Internal matters will also be discussed, the structures of the NFP. How are we going to empower the youth within, and sustain them going forward. We will discuss many things affecting our movement. We want to make a very strong NFP going forward," he said.
The elective conference is now set to take place next year with party president, Zanele KaMagwaza-Msibi, expected to be elected for a second term.
