National bus strike: Unions, employers in wage talks

Unions in the transport sector are meeting today - to discuss the next step after wage negotiations deadlocked last week.
The national bus strike enters its third week.
The strike has brought the bus industry to its knees - hitting both bus companies and commuters in the pocket as they have to fork out more to use taxis and other alternative transport.
Last week, meetings with the transport and labour ministers also failed to bear fruit.
Currently, employers are offering 9% while workers are demanding a 9.5% for the first year and 8.5% for the second year.
Employers have since given workers an ultimatum.
Trade union, SATAWU's Zanele Sabela says it's what's being discussed at today's meeting - among other issues.
