N3 congestion expected after Durban July weekend
Motorists heading home after the Vodacom Durban July or the school holidays in KZN can expect some roadworks on the busy N3 route.
The N3 Toll Concession says roadworks will be in place near Howick and Van Reenens Pass. The N3 freeway links the coast and Gauteng.
N3 Toll Concession spokesperson, Con Roux, is urging motorists to drive carefully and expect delays in the affected areas.
"Road works have resulted in lane closures and motorists can expect delays in those areas", he said.
"The school holidays are also coming to an end and that will also had to the traffic flow due to those heading from KZN to Gauteng", Roux said.
