Motorists warned of M4 closure at M27 interchange
The M4 will be temporarily closed at the M27 interchange until 15:00 on Wednesday.
Motorists who are heading to Umdloti on the north coast will need to plan their trip carefully on Wednesday.

Bridge work underway
KZN Transport says the closure is due to major construction work that is due to get underway.
“The intention is to enable engineers and the team to ensure the safe installation of precast bridge beams.
“The closure has been scheduled during off-peak hours to minimise inconvenience to road users.
“The Road Traffic Inspectorate working with the Durban Metro Police will be diverting traffic via the existing interchange on and off ramps around the work area.
“Diversion routes will be clearly signposted, and the traffic officials will be on site to ensure safe traffic flow” says KZN Transport spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibiya.
