Mom, daughter (15) hacked to death on KZN South Coast

Social workers have been sent to the home of a 10-year-old girl whose mother and sister were hacked to death on the south coast.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the murders took place in Umzumbe, apparently in the presence of the young child.
She says there've been no arrests.

"It is alleged that on 18 August at 21:00, a 41-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter were hacked to death by unknown suspects while at their home in Qoloqolo area.
"A 10-year-old girl that was in the house survived. The matter is still under investigation."
Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza will visit the family on Thursday.
