Mkhize: 511 health workers test positive for COVID-19

Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says 511 health workers tested positive for the coronavirus.
Speaking in Rustenburg - he said 285 of the workers are in the private healthcare sector - while 226 are in the public sector.
"Among them, we have 68 doctors, and among those doctors, 26 are in the private sector. A total of 232 nurses who have tested positive, 156 of them are in the private sector, and 76 are in the public sector. The bulk of them are in self-isolation."
He says 26 of these patients have been hospitalised.
Mkhize says a doctor and a nurse have died from the virus - while 149 health workers have recovered.
In KZN, more than 70 healthcare workers have tested positive for COVID-19 at St Augustine's Hospital in Durban and around 20 have tested positive at Kingsway Hospital in Amanzimtoti.
