Missing man found dead at Pretoria University
Police say the body of a man, believed to be aged 65, has been found in a toilet cubicle at the University of Pretoria.
"The Brooklyn police are investigating a case of murder following the discovery of the body of a 65-year-old man in a toilet cubicle on the campus of the University of Pretoria," spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach said.
"The man was reported missing by his wife yesterday, after her husband did not return home from work."
Weilbach says the man worked as a project manager at the University of Pretoria. A search for the missing man was conducted throughout the night.
"At about 04:30 this morning, his body was discovered by campus security officers in a toilet cubicle at the administration building. A plastic bag was tied around his head," she said.
She has appealed to people with information to contact police.
