Former KwaZulu-Natal MEC Mike Mabuyakhulu says he feels vindicated after being cleared of corruption charges.
The Durban High Court acquitted him on Tuesday and also withdrew the case against his 15 co-accused.
They were charged with fraud and money laundering relating to R28 million that the provincial government paid to service providers for the staging of the 2012 North Sea Jazz Festival.

The event never took place.
Mabuyakhulu, at the time, was the MEC for economic development.
The judge ruled that the State failed to provide sufficient evidence to support its case against the group.
