DNA test results have confirmed the body found in Phoenix last Monday is that of the ten-year-old boy.

Miguel was last seen in mid-July after leaving his Sydenham school.

His paternal aunt, Sheryl Louw says they've never felt pain like this before.

"It was devastating. The father who is my brother Kirk, Raylene the mother, and Mikayla, Miguel's older sister were devastated beyond. They were holding onto that last bit of hope. They were hoping it wasn't Miguel. Unfortunately, it ended. It's a nightmare. I pray that no family goes through what we have gone through," Louw said.

Sydenham community activist, Domenic King says residents now fear for the safety of their children.

"The community is rallying around the family right now - offering any kind of help. People in the community are fearful. Even though they know there are no problems going on in the community at the moment with kidnappings, people are still fearful," King said.
