Midlands school bus rolls down embankment, more than 70 hurt

Two children are currently being airlifted to hospital and 70 others are being treated for injuries after their school bus rolled down an embankment on the Centacow Road, west of Creighton in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands.
At this stage, it is understood the driver lost control of the vehicle.

IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says the children have been treated for minor to moderate injuries.He says part of the R617 heading towards Underberg is currently being blocked by protestors and emergency services are struggling to get to the scene.
"Medics are struggling to get to the scene and to the hospital. Authorities are on scene trying to assist them through," said Herbst.

The exact circumstances leading up to the accident are unknown.
Police are moitoring the situation on the roads.
