Men, SA women join the 'Me Too' campaign
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
South Africans and men - globally - have now joined the anti-harassment online campaign, "Me Too".
Created 10 years ago by activist Tarana Burke, The 'Me Too' campaign sought to help survivors of all forms of sexual abuse - who ordinarily wouldn't have had access to counselling or crisis centres.
Fast forward to today, the campaign is revived as thousands of women take to social media in response to an appeal by actress, Alyssa Milano to respond "me too" if they have been sexually assaulted or harassed.

More Hollywood actresses have come out - speaking for the first time on Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced Hollywood mogul accused of decades of sexual abuse and harassment. A-listers who have opened up about their experiences include Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon and Gywneth Paltrow.

Weinstein has since been sacked as co-chairman of The Weinstein Company.
Men have also taken to social media with the 'How Will I Change' hashtag, pledging to actively stand against such abuse. See some of those reactions on social media below.

After yesterday's endless #MeToo stories of women being abused, assaulted and harassed, today we say #HowIWillChange.
This thread. Thanks @JulieSLalonde. Could not agree more that awareness is not enough. Time for action. #MeToo #HowWillIChange https://t.co/mQRxu8mdAl
