Man killed in M19 crash near Westville

Emergency services responded to the scene at about 12:20 and found debris from the wreckage littered across the road. 

It is understood the car the men had been travelling in overturned near the Dunkeld Road off-ramp. 

Netcare 911's Chris Botha says one of the passengers is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

''When we arrived we found that the vehicle had rolled several times and actually went up an embankment. When paramedics examined passengers on the vehicle they found that one man had tragically died and another was in a very serious condition. 

''Paramedics stabilised him and then transported him through to a local hospital where he is receiving care,'' he said.

Although it appears as if no other vehicles were involved in the crash, the exact cause of the crash is still unknown.
