Man hurt in Durban informal settlement fire

Emergency services are tackling a fire in an informal settlement in Clairwood, south of Durban.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says medics and firefighters are at the scene in Sir Kurma Reddi Road.
Multiple shacks are well alight.
Jamieson says a man, believed to be in his 30s, is receiving treatment on scene.

He apparently sustained burn wounds to his arm and face while trying to save his belongings from the blaze.
