Man dies in N2 crash involving fuel tanker
A man has been killed after his car collided with a fuel tanker on the N2 northbound carriageway, before Tugela this morning.
While it is not yet known what exactly led to the crash, IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says it was pouring in the area earlier.
The driver from the tanker suffered moderate injuries.
Vehicles are being diverted due to the road closure.
Herbst is urging motorists to heed calls for them to exercise caution in the wet weather.
