Man accused of sexually assaulting stepdaughter faces charges
A Durban man is in police custody after allegedly sexually assaulting his stepdaughter.
According to police - the man arrived at the alleged victim's Verulam home in the early hours of this morning - asking to use the toilet.
He's alleged to have snuck into his 22-year-old stepdaughter's room and fondled her.
The woman screamed for help and the man fled in a car.

Nqobile Gwala says officers were alerted and the car was traced to a local petrol station where the man was arrested.
"The suspect attempted to rape the victim. The suspect is known to the victim, and will be charged with sexual assault. He will appear in the Verulam Magistrate's Court soon once charged," Gwala said.
