The EFF says it has been sitting in a series of meetings involving some MPs since early this morning - working on a strategy to remove President Jacob Zuma from office.

The party's leader, Julius Malema has told reporters in Braamfontein that he feels last night's Cabinet reshuffle was not in the interest of the country.
Zuma axed several ministers and deputies, including the National Treasury's Pravin Gordhan and Mcebisi Jonas.
Malusi Gigaba will now head up the portfolio.
Malema says it's time for members of Parliament to put their political differences aside and work together.

"There were serious allegations against Malusi for having that offshore account. He has never done anything to prove that he doesn't have an off-shore account. We know that from his personal life we were told of huge amounts of money he exchanged with his friends - an allegation he has never denied.," he said.
The EFF leader says they intend on pursuing a vote of no confidence in President Zuma - even if it means aligning with the opposition.
"We have consulted with the lawyers and they have successfully advised that if we want to pass a motion of no confidence, ANC members would have to vote with us. The Constitution says you would need the majority of members, a positive of 201 and not 70 to abstain, for it to succeed. We've been having these meetings to identify those members," he said.
