Liezel de Jager's murder suspect to appear in court
A man linked to the murder of a KZN pastor is set to make his first appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
The 45-year-old suspect was arrested by the police's Cold Case Unit in Bloemfontein in connection with Liezel de Jager's murder.
Her body was found in the garden of her Amanzimtoti home in 2021.

She was strangled.
The police's Athlenda Mathe says the unit took over investigations earlier this month, and made a breakthrough on Friday.
"Within two weeks the unit managed to trace and link the suspects.
"The members were tirelessly analysing and following up on information and in the early hours of the 24th of November the team made an arrest.
"The SAPS Cold Case Unit is a unit within the detective services under Brigadier Bafana Gininda, and is responsible for investigating unresolved cases."
