At least 20 children hurt in bakkie rollover accident
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
At least 20 school children have been hurt after a bakkie transporting them overturned on the P718 at Inanda.

It is not known what caused the vehicle to overturn yesterday evening, but it is believed the driver somehow lost control while going up a steep roadway, causing the bakkie to roll several times.
A number of emergency services responded to the scene.
KZN EMS's Robert McKenzie says the children aged between 6 and 9 sustained minor to moderate injuries while the driver was in a critical condition.
"Paramedics from KZN Emergency Rescue Services as well other other private services responded to the scene and stabilized those hurt before transporting them to health institutions in the area," he said.
"At this stage the cause of the case unknown and will be investigated by authorities," McKenzie said.
