WATCH: Ladysmith mopping up after flooding following downpours

Clean-up operations are continuing in Ladysmith after a part of the CBD became flooded following heavy downpours.
According to data from the South African Weather Service, 87 millimetres of rain fell in the city on Monday night.
Some businesses in the city centre have been affected and are counting the cost.

Spokesperson for the Alfred Duma Municipality, Siyabonga Maphalala, says some roads, including Leyll Street, remain closed off.
"Businesses around the CBD have been affected by this heavy rain. at the moment I'm also running around checking the different avenues of the river flooding. I'm at the dam where I'm doing an observation as well as getting a report from our engineeers on the site."
