KZN Weather: Forecasters say 'worst is over'
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Weather experts say the worst of the cold snap that saw snow falling in parts of the Berg and Midlands has come and gone.
The SA Weather Service says conditions are expected to begin improving in the province.
"We are not expecting any more snowfall because the upper air system producing snow has already exited the country," he says.

"We are still expecting some rain along the coast but no more heavy rainfall. We just have 60% chances of rain along the coast. There's a 30% chance for the Eastern parts of KZN. We do have a warning in place for gale force winds that's between Richard's Bay and the extreme north coast of KZN," he says.
