KZN Health details lasting solution to oncology crisis
Health officials say the province's oncology crisis will be completely resolved by April.
A chronic shortage of oncologists and broken cancer treatment machines at public facilities have been at the core of the problem.
A report from the SA Human Rights Commission released last year - found the department had violated the rights of cancer patients.

Acting HOD, Musa Gumede says they've dealt with most of the issues.
Gumede says they have also recruited specialists.
"In Durban, a tender was awarded in January. We are hoping that in February, the successful tenderer will be on the ground. They will give us three oncologists in each of the two hospitals. Once the machines are up and running, the Addington Hospital will be up and running as well at the end of April," he says.
