KZN Education is pleading for zero exam disruptions

As matrics get ready for the final chapter of their high school careers, education officials are encouraging the nation to support them, and not hinder them.
The 2019 final exams will kick-off on Wednesday, with a Computer Applications Technology Paper 1.

Authorities say overall 183 808 thousand full-time and part-time candidates in KZN are registered for the finals.
But, with community protests a daily occurrence in the country, there are concerns about possible interruptions.

Last week, quality assurance council Umalusi said that about 500 of the nearly 11 000 exam centres nationally, were at risk of being affected by protests.
KZN Education spokersperson, Muzi Mahlambi says they are pleading with communities not to get in the way of learners sitting for their exams.
