Winter Schools Programme to boost KZN matric results
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The KZN Education Department has launched the winter schools programme in Pinetown.
The programme will see extra classes being held over the holidays to assist matric learners with their studies - while also making other resources available to them.
Last year, KZN achieved a matric pass rate of 69.5%. Although this is slight improvement from the previous year's 60.7%, the province is ranked the third worst performing province ahead of Eastern Cape and Limpopo.
