KZN car guard completes ninth Comrades Marathon

A car-guard who completed his ninth Comrades Marathon yesterday says he'll continue to run the ultimate race until he wins it.
Thirty-two-year-old Hlalazi Shezi who is self trained, received a silver medal and crossed the finish line at the Scottsville Racecource in a time of six hours and 58 minutes.
Speaking to Newswatch moments after the Comrades, Shezi - from Botha's Hill - said running the race is a lifelong dream come true.
KZN resident, Bongmusa Mthembu bagged the number one spot in the marathon at 5: 35: 31.
Zimbabwean, Hatiwande Nyamande landed second place at 5: 38: 48. While last year's winner, Gift Kelehe earned third place at 5:41.48 in Pietermaritzburg today.
