Provincial secretary Super Zuma made the comment after hundreds of members marched trough Durban yesterday, demanding a re-run of last month's provincial elective conference in Pietermaritzburg.

Those who took part in the march allege that the conference in which Sihle Zikalala unseated Premier Senzo Mchunu as chairperson was rigged.

They also claim there's a plot to remove several MECs, including Mike Mabuyakhulu, Peggy Nkonyeni and Belinda Scott.

Zuma told a media briefing that there have been no discussions are a reshuffle.

"We have never dealt with the issue related to reshuffling that I can confirm. We have never dealt with issues related to issues of mayors whether there will be a recall based on the outcomes of the provincial conference. So we'll deal with issues when they are reported in proper structures," he said.

The frustrated ANC members also spoke out against claims that the recent marches had been called in Mchunu's name.

They say calls to appeal the conference are coming from the party's branches.
