#KessieNair's bail bid postponed until Monday
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Kessie Nair's bail application will continue on Monday at the Verulam Magistrate's Court.

Nair posted a video on Facebook in which he referred to the president as the K-word.
Earlier, the court ruled that Nair should be sent for a 28-day mental assessment at the Fort Napier Hospital in Pietermaritzburg - although a bed might only be available in April.
Nair's attorney, Chris Gounden asked for the hearing to be postponed to allow them to find Nair a place to stay - if granted bail.
In an affidavit read out by the state earlier, Nair's brother says his brother could no longer live at their Phoenix home.

Gounden also told the magistrate that they were waiting for more affidavits to strengthen their case - adding they will have the statements on Monday.
Earlier, state prosecutor, Carlson Govender argued that if released on bail, Nair would be danger to himself, his family and cause tensions among communities.
Govender also told the court that the mental assessment should be completed before Nair can be freed.
