IEC gazettes names of local election winners

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has gazetted the names of more than 9 000 councillors who won seats in last week's local government elections.
Municipal councils now have 14 days to hold their first council meetings.
This is where the IEC will elect councillors who'll represent local councils in their districts.
The IEC says South Africans voted in 5 632 new councillors.
The rest are have served before.
The youngest councillor to be elected is 20-years-old and from Merafong in Gauteng.
The oldest is 83-years-old and will serve KwaZulu-Natal's Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality.
