New housing and service delivery projects for Isipingo informal settlements will pave the way for job opportunities, says eThekwini Municipality officials.
This after eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda and other officials held marathon talks with residents at Transit Camp, Uganda and Pilgrim X informal settlements, south of Durban.

Residents complained saying they haven't received basic services for a decade, there are major sewerage problems and road conditions are extremely poor.
The mayor's spokesperson, Mluleki Mntungwa has reiterated their commitment to residents.
