Hillcrest community rallies around Van Wyk family
A heartbroken wife whose husband was gunned down at the weekend is urging police to do all they can to arrest his killers.
Adriaan van Wyk managed the restaurant at Crinkley Bottom Park in Hillcrest.
The 38-year-old father of one was shot in the stomach by two gunmen who followed him into the restaurant moments after he had opened its doors on Sunday morning.
Police say nothing was taken from the establishment.

Van Wyk's wife, Samantha says they have been overwhelmed by support from the community.
"There are a lot of people coming together. There are a few private investigators looking into it. There's a special unit within the SAPS looking into it. A memorial will be taking place this coming Friday," she said.
