Higher Education steps in to resolve DUT strike

Higher Education and Training officials are coming to Durban to try and resolve the salary dispute between the Durban University of Technology and staff.
Deputy Minister, Buti Manamela is expected to meet with management and striking staff tomorrow.
Workers downed tools last month over pay.
Lectures remain suspended at the institution.
Milton Estrice has been speaking for the three striking unions.
"We will meet with management and hopefully things will progress from there," said Estrice.
He says their strike action will continue if no resolution is reached, they will just move their focus to City Hall.
"We will wait until the big meeting tomorrow and then decide which way to go," he said.
