High risk of rotational load shedding this evening
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Eskom says there are increased chances of Stage 1 rotational load shedding being put into effect from 5pm to 10pm today, but adds this will only be implemented if absolutely necessary.
In a statement, the power utility says a shortage of generational capacity has again take place at their power stations.
The country was plagued with a series of power cuts just last month - with the power utility implementing Stage Four load shedding.
Briefing media at the Lethabo power station earlier this month - Minister Pravin Gordhan said there would be no shedding at least until the end of August, but should the need arise - it will happen at Stage 1.
