KZN Health suspends some services in Umlazi after worker kidnapped
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
The KZN Health Department says an employee who was kidnapped from a mobile clinic is receiving counselling.
The worker was attacked at a local shopping centre in Umlazi, south of Durban, last week.
The employee was allegedly forced to withdraw money from their account.

The incident has led to the department suspending mobile clinic services from the Prince Mshiyeni Hospital until further notice.
In a statement, the department has expressed alarm about what it's calling a wave of attacks on outreach teams - and the impact it could have on the sick and vulnerable.
However, it says the withdrawal of mobile clinic services in Umlazi has been made in the interest of its employees.
