Health Dept: Reports of coronavirus in SA is fake news

National health officials have denied reports that there are five cases of the coronavirus at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town.
Health department spokesperson, Popo Maja says South Africans need to be aware that there are some mischievous people spreading rumours about the outbreak.
"There is no suspected or confirmed cases of coronavirus in the whole of South Africa"
"I must warn the public that it is quite usual that during an outbreak, people tend to generate fake news in order to cause panic," he says.

Meanwhile, the United States says it's developing a vaccine against the disease - which has claimed 170 lives so far.
Experts at biotech firm Moderna say the process would take three months to start the first trial and three months or more to gather data.
