Grade 7 and 12s to report back to school on 8 June: Education
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The Department of Basic Education says all schools will reopen today, but only for teachers and staff to prepare for the arrival of pupils next Monday.

"Learners are expected back in school on 8 June. Teachers, school management teams and non-teaching staff are expected back at work on 1 June," says department spokesperson, Elijah Mhlanga.
Mhlanga says the decision was made by the Council of Education Ministers this past weekend.
A report from service providers said that a substantial number of schools won't be ready to welcome Grades 12 and 7 back on 1 June.
