Galleria Mall denies policy against unvaccinated customers
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The management of Galleria Mall in Amanzimtoti says there's no policy in place that bars unvaccinated customers from shopping at the mall.
In a statement to Newswatch on Wednesday, management says a widely circulated poster has been misinterpreted by some residents as suggesting those who haven't received a Covid-19 jab won't be allowed access into the shopping centre.
The poster only refers to access to the offices of centre management.
The mall says the message on the poster was taken out of context.
It says all customers, whether vaccinated or not, will be allowed to shop at there.
"The message has been misinterpreted and taken out of context. We will not prevent entry to any customer into the mall.
"All customers are welcome to the mall – vaccinated or unvaccinated,” mall management said.
