Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Motorists are in for some relief at the pumps this month.
The Energy Department has announced that the fuel price will decrease in February.
This month's adjustments will kick in on Wednesday, 07 February.
The department says the price of petrol will decrease by 30 cents a litre for both 93 and 95 octane.
Diesel users will also pay 17 cents a litre less.
Officials say the main factors contributing to the decrease include the Rand / Dollar exchange and the increase in the price of Brent crude oil.
The average price of Brent crude oil increased from around 64 Dollars a barrel to just over 69 Dollars a barrel in the period under review.
