The family of slain KwaMakhutha woman Philisiwe Mvubu says her husband, who's accused of her murder, should be denied bail until his trial.
Sibusiso Mvubu has made his first appearance in the Umbumbulu Magistrate's Court.
The 31-year-old was arrested in Estcourt on Monday in connection with his wife's killing.
She was attacked with an angle grinder over the weekend, apparently after a domestic dispute.

Philisiwe's sister Mabongi Mnyandu says she had confided in her about the abuse she'd suffered for six years.
"We do not want this man to get bail. I don't even want to call him my brother-in-law because he has brought us so much pain. I want him to go rot in jail.
"It's sad because my sister only told me in June that she was not happy in her marriage. She said to me Sbusiso was not the man everyone thinks he is."
Mvubi is expected back in court next week.
"The suspect appeared in the Umbumbulu Magistrate’s Court yesterday [Wenesday] and the case was remanded 12 July 2021," provincial police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says.
