eThekwini residents can expect a delivery of orange recycling bags from next month.
Mayor Zandile Gumede says they've sorted out a number of issues affecting the supply chain - which disrupted distribution.
A forensic probe - earlier this year uncovered serious irregularities in the awarding of a R90-million tender - to a company to supply the bags. Gumede says they've teamed up with new suppliers.

She says the orange bags, which are used for plastics, cardboard and paper will be sent to homes again from next month.
"There were some challenges but we have worked on those hiccups. Orange bags are going to be on the ground and our systems are in place. Our supply chain department was busy with all the issues - is going to be in order," Gumede said.
