eThekwini mayor kicks off mission to strengthen service delivery

eThekwini officials say housing developments are due to get off the ground next year, to improve service delivery at informal settlements in Isipingo, south of Durban.
Mayor, Mxolisi Kaunda and other city officials visited the settlements in the area on Sunday, and held meetings with the residents.
Residents of the Isipingo Transit Camp, Uganda and Pilgrim X Informal settlements have been living without basic services for around a decade.
The mayoral spoksperson, Mluleki Mntungwa says there are also plans to improve infrastructure there.
