The group was arrested on Friday after one of the suspects handed himself over to police at Estcourt SAPS.

He then led officers to a home where they found the body parts of a woman.

The National Prosecuting Authority's Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says the suspects appeared briefly in the Estcourt Magistrate's Court yesterday.

"They were remanded into custody until the 28th of August for a possible bail application. The charges they face at the moment are murder and conspiracy to commit murder," she said.
