Eskom says power system gaining stability
Eskom says it's doing everything in its power to keep the lights on in the long-term.
Residents and business owners won't have to pull out their load shedding schedules any time soon.
The utility's Monde Bala says they had no choice but to implement back-to-back power cuts last week, as some power units kept breaking down.
They've now been replaced and are back online.

A damaged line from Mozambique has also been fixed.
"With the units that we're bringing back to service - we are not foreseeing any loadshedding unless something else breaks down. One of the lines that were damaged by the weather situation in Mozambique has also been reinstated. We are getting some power from Mozambique as well - which places us in a position where we can stop load shedding," Bala said.
