Updated | By Shaun Ryan
A 45-year-old north coast man has been sentenced to life behind bars for raping his teenage step-daughter.
He was handed the sentence at a court, near Empangeni, after the magistrate heard how he'd raped the 14-year-old - after an argument with her mother.
The child was attacked in December, three years ago at Nsimbini Reserve in Esikhaleni.
She says her mother was chased out of the house by her stepfather after the quarrel. He then asked her to bring him a cup of tea.
