KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie says none of the residents had been in that section of the home when the roof collapsed.
"Emergency services responded to the scene. The building has been cordoned off at this stage and all emergency services are currently at the scene. The residents are well and are calm. They have been well taken care of by managers and staff - and everything is under control," Mckenzie said.
