Elderly British man murdered at Durban's Burman Bush

An elderly man has been found murdered at the Burman Bush Nature Reserve in Durban's Mornigside area.
The British foreign national, who had been living in South Africa for the last 20 years, was stabbed to death.
The deceased's friend managed to run away.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says the man had sustained fatal stab wounds.
Officers from the SAPS Search and Rescue Unit recovered his body from the bottom of a steep pathway some 500 metres into the bush yesterday morning.

It is understood the man had been walking in the nature reserve with a friend when they were accosted by armed attackers on Friday.The deceased's friend managed to run away.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says the man had sustained fatal stab wounds.
"A case of murder is being investigated by police."
