The two are believed to have killed and robbed 78-year-old Deloris Ireland in her home on Grafton Street.
Her body was found by her son in the laundry room on Wednesday.
It is unknown at this stage how she died, but police say there are visible signs of blunt force trauma to her head.

Ireland's neighbour Johannes Korbe says she was a warm and friendly person, who was well-liked in the local community.
Korbe says he'd known her for almost 20 years. He says he was shocked when he heard how his former work colleague had been killed.
He says Ireland had great sense of humour.
Meanwhile, the Bluff community has come forward to find a temporary home for Ireland's 13 dogs.
CPF chairperson Andy Rossell says the dogs have been taken in by Bark Angels.
