Early payment of social grants for December
Millions of social grant beneficiaries will start receiving their December grant payments, exactly three weeks from today.
The SA Social Security Agency said yesterday that the money will be processed earlier so that grant collectors are able to receive their monthly payments - several weeks before Christmas.
They can head to ATMs and other paypoints from the 28th of this month.
"For cash points, we will finish on the 15th of December. This means money will be available for withdrawal from the 28th onwards. People will be able to withdraw their money and be able to do purchases for Christmas - for those celebrating Christmas," SASSA's Mbizeni Mdlalose says.

And funds will be available for collection until 22 December.
