Durban N3 crash causes major delays
A road worker has been struck by a vehicle on the N3 highway in Durban.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says part of the highway between the Pavilion Shopping Centre and Paradise Valley had to be closed to allow paramedics to attend to the seriously injured man.

''It's quite a high impact - the paramedics have had to close down the freeway to one lane and they are at the moment obviously trying to resuscitate the person on the scene.
''The back-up of traffic is quite considerable and we urge people to consider alternative routes,'' he said.
UPDATE N3: Durbanbound, just after Paradise Valley. There is an accident scene. Left lane OPEN. Expect delays.
