Durban man, woman found dead on the KZN south coast
A Durban man and woman who had been travelling together on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast have been found murdered.
They had both been shot.
Police say they are still investigating the circumstances under which the pair was killed. But, what we know at this stage is that the man who was 40-years-old and the woman, who was 27, were on the South Coast last night.
Well-placed sources have told us they were hijacked, that he was shot multiple times at the scene and that the hijackers then fled with his companion.
His body was found near Umkomaas at about 6am today. The woman's body was found in Folweni, near Amanzimtoti just before 10am.
She had been shot in the head. The car they were travelling in is still missing.
