Dube Trade Port is Durban's centre for global investment: Zikalala
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
KZN MEC Sihle Zikalala says the Dube Trade Port, north of Durban, has been identified as one of the country's most valuable attractions when it comes to foreign investment.

The province has been highlighted as a significant trade partner for BRICS nations and Finland at the KZN Export Week currently underway at the ICC.
The department says export has a significant role to play in reducing unemployment.
Zikalala says cargo volumes have increased significantly since 2010 - with minerals, vehicles, machinery, fruits and nuts among top products.
"Dube Trade Port is one of the strategic and excelling special economic zones in the country. We are also pleased that the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone is continuing to attract more investment into Richards Bay and in the province. We will continue to position the province of KZN as the destination of choice when it comes to investment and tourism," Zikalala said.
